STEP 1Measure the wound and determine which wound manager is most suitable: Small (17x10 cm), Medium (27x14 cm), Large (35x19 cm). |

STEP 2Make a template for the wound size and trace it onto the skin plate. |

STEP 3Cut the hydrocolloid plate to size. |

STEP 4If necessary, apply a barrier film to the skin surrounding the wound. |

STEP 5Pull the skin smooth and affix the wound manager over the wound. |

STEP 6Use the hydrocolloid paste to fill and protect skin folds and unprotected skin between the wound and the skin plate. |

STEP 7Make a barrier using hydrocolloid paste, covering it with moisture-resistant hydrocolloid strips to protect the skin around the wound from aggressive output. |

STEP 8Close the access panel. |
